Company Funding

Range of services currently available

All of Nemco's funding comes directly from the sale of its services

Lessons can be paid for in two ways;

either the school will asked to be invoiced by us at an hourly rate (they may then choose to pass some or all of this cost onto parents)

or parents are invoiced by us directly on a termly basis.  Parents may choose individual, paired or group lessons according to what is most appropriate to the learner.

Includes small group/individual tuition in;

Orchestral Strings (Violin, Viola, 'cello, Double Bass)

Woodwind (Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, Saxophone)

Brass (Trumpet, Cornet, Tenor horn, French horn, Trombone, Baritone, Euphonium, Tuba)

Guitar (Classical, Acoustic, Electric)

Keyboard (Electric, Piano)

Percussion (all standard percussion)

Recorder (small group and whole class)

School Based Ensembles Include;

String Orchestra, String Quartet, Brass/woodwind ensemble, Wind Band, Folk Group, Rock Band

Demonstrations;

To whole school or year group

And Support in

Composition, Theory, Recording, classroom delivery

Nemco was set up in 1995 as a workers' co-operative and adheres to co-operative principals. The company is managed by directors, elected from its membership.

We employ personnel who provide administrative support.  Our office is manned 9.00 - 4.30 Monday- Friday (term time) hours vary during school holidays.

All instrumental tutors working through Nemco are self employed.

All instrumental tutors are DBS checked to an enhanced level, have public liability insurance and carry a photo identity badge.  Each tutor has agreed to adhere to Nemco's code of practice.  All our tutors and administrative team have completed a child protection and safeguarding course.

All tutors are monitored by Nemco.
